Blu Mar Ten had cut their teeth on LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking before striking out on their own, recording for respected US house imprint Guidance in addition to Danny McMillan’s In-Flight Entertainment. The band’s Leo Wyndham had played a drum & bass set a couple of years before, but knowing of his penchant for latin jazz, I invited him down to Deconstructed Live for a set inspired by bossa and heat hazed atmospherics. Prescient timing on this one, as the boys have a new album due soon, check their site for info.
