Terminator Salvation

Terminator Salvation

Terminator SalvationFinally seen it, and despite the plentiful horror stories (check Guardian Film Blog and Peter Bradshaw’s One Star Review) I thought it was flawed but enjoyable. Anton Yelchin was great, and the tech and the action scenes were well executed, though the liberal pastiche (a little too many Aliens and Bladerunner references perhaps), attempts to link it to past adventures and the usual Hollywood flash bang were a little feeble they weren’t critical. My hopes for sci fi are currently invested in Moon, and I have high hopes for District 9, but this far from the death of a franchise many had pegged it for.
