Deconstructed Live: Quantic (Tru Thoughts) DJ Set (2 of 2)

The second half (about 35 minutes of killer soul and funk) of the exclusive DJ set from Quantic’s Will Holland, celebrating his brilliant new album Celebrating Quantic’s new album “Dog With A Rope”. Recorded in 2001, the set follows on from Part One, posted in July. Will was the first of a handful of guests to join the roster of Deconstructed Live from Brighton’s Tru Thoughts records, playing DC #18.

With his authentic blend of organic beats as Quantic Soul Orchestra ripping up floors across the country and his own solo shufflers having been championed by Kruder & Dorfmeister and Groove Armada, big things were expected of Will, who has since delivered with a slew of great releases. His set was almost entirely seven-inch orientated, dinked funk twelves – both contemporary and classic – rocking the floor.
